Welcome to the North Interlake Area Census Division No.18

The North Interlake Census Division No.18 is located north of the City of Winnipeg along the Provincial Trunk Highways No. 6, 7, 8 and 9, and is bordered by Lake Winnipeg on the east and Lake Manitoba to the west. Provincial Trunk Highway 68 serves as the major east-west transportation route, along with a number of Municipal and Provincial Roads.

The 1996 population of this Census Division was 22,280. The Census Division area is made up of the Towns of Arborg, Gimli, and Winnipeg Beach, the Village of Riverton, and the Rural Municipalities of Armstrong, Bifrost, Coldwell, Ericksdale, Fisher, Gimli, Grahamdale, Siglunes, and St. Laurent.
