GeographyThe Rural Municipality of Mountain is located in the western portion of Central Manitoba. The municipality is split into two regions, Mountain North and Mountain South. Mountain North is the northernmost municipality in the Parkland, and the second northernmost municipality in Manitoba. Mountain North shares part of its eastern boundary with the scenic shore of Swan Lake. The R.M. is easily accessible by Provincial Trunk Highway (PTH) 10 and Provincial Roads 266 and 268.
